The experience deserves to be just as meaningful as the wedding day.
You said yes immediately, and then immediately panicked.
The group chat is already a disaster and the wedding is eight months away.
You're trying to plan one of the most important parties of her life while managing your own job, your own life, and everyone's finances and emotions.
You said yes without thinking twice. Now you're the guy tracking down four tux measurements and a hotel block.
Everyone has an opinion about the bachelor weekend. Nobody wants to plan it, and nobody wants to Venmo you for it.
You didn't realize this position meant becoming an event planner, accountant, and coordinator.
We understand the importance of being fully present without worrying about forgetting even the smallest detail. From the engagement party to the wedding weekend, we're here to handle the details, so you can focus on enjoying the moment.
The Honor House supports the full role, not only one event. From group communication and budgets to speeches, gifts, styling, and wedding-week responsibilities, every detail is considered together.
From The Curated up, every detail is chosen around your bride or groom and your group. Nothing generic. Ever.
We don't just plan events. We design moments and experiences. Every detail is chosen with intention so it feels curated, not coordinated.
The whole point is that you get to actually be her MOH or his Best Man, not the assistant, not the vendor coordinator. Just their person.
From the first inquiry through wedding week, you get exactly the level of support your plan includes.
Fill out our intake form: your bride or groom, your group, your vision, your budget, and what matters most. The more we know, the more we can build.
Your custom plan, communication strategy, and curated details, built around your group and the level of support you chose. Nothing copied from someone else's weekend.
Execute with confidence, backed by exactly the support you chose, from a ready-to-use plan to complete concierge management. You get to be fully present for them, for the moment, for the memories.

I said yes to being a Maid of Honor with zero experience, zero guidance, and a whole lot of love for my best friend. I figured it out, and then I built The Honor House so the next MOH, and the next Best Man, doesn't have to start from scratch.
I've been in your shoes. That's exactly why this works.
Valerie O'BrienFounder, The Honor House
Read My StoryThe Honor House was created after founder Valerie O'Brien experienced firsthand how much responsibility comes with standing beside someone you love, and how little real guidance exists for doing it well.
Every service has been designed around what wedding parties actually contend with. Competing budgets. Group communication. Travel logistics. Event planning. The personal details nobody else is tracking. And the pressure to get all of it right.
Every recommendation is built around your bride or groom, your group, your budget, and the occasion.
Defined deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and next steps, so you always know exactly what is being handled and by whom.
Choose anything from an expert built plan you execute yourself to complete concierge management.
You said yes to one of the most important roles of their life. Imagine doing all of that without the overwhelm, the late nights, the group chat chaos.

Book Your Free ConsultationThe Honor House exists because one Maid of Honor figured it out the hard way, and decided nobody else should have to either.
Not long ago, I was exactly where you are. I said yes to being a Maid of Honor for my best friend, immediately, without hesitation, and with absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into.
What followed was months of research, late nights, and group chat chaos, without a single resource built for someone in my position. I figured it out through trial and error, and showed up for her with everything I had.
I know what it feels like to step into this role wanting to make everything perfect, with no roadmap to follow. The Honor House was born from that experience, transforming what I learned into thoughtful guidance and concierge support for every celebration that follows.
Because I've been where you are, I understand what matters most.
Valerie O'BrienFounder, The Honor House
The Honor House began with Valerie’s firsthand experience as a Maid of Honor. The planning, the pressure, the group dynamics, the responsibility nobody prepares you for. That experience became the foundation for support designed for both Maids of Honor and Best Men.
Every plan begins with who they are, what matters to them, and how you want them to feel. Nothing generic. Nothing copied from another celebration.
You should be able to experience these moments, not manage them from the sidelines. We handle the agreed details behind the scenes so you can stay present for the person you love.
Budgets, group dynamics, surprises, and private conversations stay private. What happens behind the scenes stays behind the scenes.
Before The Honor House, I was the MOH who figured it out the hard way, and somewhere in the process, I discovered this is what I was meant to do.
I believe the people who show up for others deserve someone showing up for them. That's the standard I bring to every Honor House engagement: thoughtful attention, genuine care, and my absolute best.
When I'm not planning the most important moments of someone's life, you can find me on the golf course with my husband, chasing my Yorkies Charlie and Fitzy around the yard, hosting dinner parties to test new recipes, or making the perfect dry martini. Must be Hendrick's Gin. Non-negotiable.
The Honor House is a founder-led concierge. Valerie personally leads every engagement and remains your primary point of contact from intake through final delivery.

The Honor House ("we," "us," "our") is a founder-led pre-wedding concierge service operated by Valerie O'Brien, doing business as The Honor House, in California. This policy explains what information we collect through thehonorhouse.co and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
Information you give us directly
Contact and inquiry details, including your name, email address, phone number, wedding date, role in the wedding party, and anything you choose to write in an inquiry or intake form. Scheduling information when you book a consultation. Purchase and transaction records, including what you bought, when, and the invoice history. Communications between us, including emails, texts, and call notes. Marketing preferences. During an engagement, we also receive event details such as locations, travel plans, accommodation, budgets, vendor information, and any documents or photographs you send us.
Information about other people
Our services involve planning around a group, so you will likely give us information about people other than yourself, including the bride or groom, wedding-party members, and guests. This can include names, contact details, travel schedules, dietary requirements, clothing sizes, contribution and payment status, and notes about group dynamics or relationships.
We use that information only to plan and deliver the services you have engaged us for. Access is limited to Valerie and, where applicable, approved contractors bound by confidentiality obligations. It is retained on the same schedule as the rest of your client file. By providing it, you confirm you have the authority to share it with us. Any person whose information you have provided may contact us at hello@thehonorhouse.co to request access, correction, or deletion of their information, and we will respond and coordinate with you as appropriate.
Please do not send sensitive information through our general inquiry form. That means medical or health details, financial account or card numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, or comparable information about yourself or anyone else. If something sensitive is genuinely necessary for your engagement, we will tell you how to send it securely.
Information collected automatically
Our website does not use analytics software, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or social-media tracking integrations, and it does not set cookies of its own. Two third-party services load on our site and may receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser, and device: Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used across the site, and Calendly, which powers the scheduling widget on our contact page. When the contact page and its embedded widget load, and when you interact with the widget, Calendly may receive technical information and set cookies under its own privacy policy. Our web host also maintains standard server logs. Each of these services handles that information under its own privacy policy. Because we do not operate a tracking network, we do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals differently from ordinary requests.
How we use information
To respond to inquiries and assess whether we are a good fit. To schedule and conduct consultations. To plan, deliver, and support the services you have purchased. To process payments and maintain financial records. To communicate with you about an active engagement. To send marketing emails where you have asked to receive them. To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.
Service providers
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do use service providers in the following categories, each of which processes information on our behalf: website hosting, domain registration, form processing, scheduling, email and calendar, email marketing, payment processing, cloud file storage, electronic signature, accounting and bookkeeping, and AI-assisted productivity software. Providers currently in use include Netlify for website hosting and form submissions, GoDaddy for domain registration and email service, Microsoft 365 for email, calendar, and video meetings, Calendly for scheduling, Google Voice for our business phone line, and Stripe for payment processing. Where required, these providers are engaged under terms that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.
AI-assisted tools
We use AI-assisted software to help draft, organise, and review our own work product, in the same way we would use any other professional tool. We do not upload client contracts, identification documents, or financial account information to these tools, and we minimise identifying details about you and your wedding party where the work does not require them. Everything produced with this assistance is reviewed by Valerie before it reaches you. The deliverable, and the judgement behind it, remains ours.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires. Our current retention practice is: unconverted inquiries, 12 months; active client files and deliverables, for the duration of the engagement plus 12 months; signed contracts and transaction records, 7 years, which reflects tax and record-keeping requirements; marketing subscriptions, until you unsubscribe; wedding-party information provided by a client, on the same schedule as that client file; archived email correspondence, 24 months. When information is no longer needed, we delete or securely dispose of it. Where information has been captured in a service provider's backup systems, deletion may not take effect until that provider's ordinary backup rotation completes.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to provide a copy of the information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete information, stop sending marketing email, or withdraw consent where our use relies on it. Send requests to hello@thehonorhouse.co with the subject line "Privacy Request." So we can be confident we are responding to the right person, we may ask you to confirm details we already hold, such as the email address used for an inquiry or booking. We aim to respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Some information must be retained where the law requires it, and we will tell you if that applies.
Marketing
Submitting an inquiry does not by itself subscribe you to marketing email. Our inquiry form includes a separate, optional checkbox for that, and we will reply to your inquiry whether or not you tick it. Requesting our free checklist does subscribe you to our email list, and we say so at the point of sign-up. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing email but does not stop transactional messages about an active engagement, such as scheduling, invoices, and deliverables.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not represent otherwise. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided us information through the site, contact us and we will delete it. This is separate from incidental event-planning information about a minor, such as a junior bridesmaid's dress size, which a client may provide in the course of an engagement and which is handled under the "Information about other people" section above.
Where we operate
We are based in California and our services are offered throughout the United States. Events we help plan may take place elsewhere, and in-person presence can be arranged internationally by separate agreement. If you are located outside the United States and would like to engage us, please contact us first so we can confirm we are able to serve you and explain how your information would be handled.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will always reflect the current version. If we make a material change to how we handle information, we will post the updated policy here and, where we hold your email address in connection with an active or recent engagement, notify you directly.

Effective date: August 23, 2026
These Website Terms govern your use of thehonorhouse.co and any purchase made through it that is not covered by a separate signed agreement. Please read them before using the site or reserving anything.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Valerie O'Brien, doing business as The Honor House, in California. You can reach us at hello@thehonorhouse.co.
2. Using this website
You may use this site to learn about our services, book a consultation, submit an inquiry, and reserve an experience. You agree not to misuse it, including by attempting to interfere with its operation, scraping it at scale, submitting false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to reserve a service or make a purchase.
3. Which document governs what
More than one document may apply to you, depending on what you do here. These Website Terms cover use of the site itself. Buying a digital product is additionally governed by the terms presented at checkout. A custom concierge engagement is additionally governed by your proposal, your Schedule A scope of work, and our Master Service Agreement. Where those signed documents conflict with these Website Terms in relation to a custom engagement, the signed documents control.
4. Booking a consultation
Booking a free consultation is not a purchase and does not create a service engagement. It commits you to nothing beyond the appointment itself. By booking, you agree to these Website Terms and our Privacy Policy, and you consent to us contacting you about the consultation. You are not agreeing to any service agreement, and none applies until one is presented to you and signed.
5. Reserving an experience
You can reserve an experience directly or begin with a consultation. When you reserve directly, we review your information within 24 hours to confirm the engagement is a fit before any planning work begins. If we determine we cannot accept it, any payment collected for that service is returned in full.
For custom concierge engagements, a binding engagement begins only once you have received and accepted your proposal and Schedule A scope of work, signed the Master Service Agreement, and paid the deposit. Planning work begins after that point. You will see the scope you are agreeing to before you commit to it.
6. Prices, deposits, and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change, though a change will never affect an engagement already reserved. Applicable taxes are added where required. A deposit secures your service and initiates work. Installment plans are available on experiences of $497 and above, with the balance divided into scheduled installments based on your event date and planning timeline. If a scheduled payment fails, we will contact you to resolve it, and we may pause work on your engagement until the account is current. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and we never see or store full card numbers.
7. What our prices cover
Our prices cover our planning, guidance, coordination, and the deliverables stated in your proposal. Venue charges, travel, accommodations, vendors, event purchases, gifts, printing, shipping, rentals, tickets, food, and beverages are separate unless expressly included in your proposal. You contract with and pay third-party vendors directly. We do not hold, process, or route funds belonging to you or to anyone in your wedding party.
8. Digital products
The Essential and other downloadable materials are delivered as digital products, and access is provided immediately on purchase. Refund terms for digital products are presented at checkout. Purchasing gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own wedding-party role. You may not redistribute, resell, copy for others, publish, or share them with a group or across multiple weddings.
9. Ownership
Our methods, templates, checklists, written materials, brand, and the contents of this website belong to us and remain ours. Documents we prepare for your engagement are yours to use for that engagement. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the underlying materials, systems, or approach we used to create them.
10. Information you give us about other people
Planning around a group means you will give us information about other people. By providing it, you confirm you have the authority to share it with us. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide, and for content, photographs, and documents you send us. How we handle that information is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. What we do not guarantee
We plan, coordinate, and advise. We do not control third parties or circumstances. We cannot guarantee vendor availability, pricing, quality, or attendance, nor weather, travel, venue conditions, guest behaviour, group agreement, or the outcome of any event. Recommendations are recommendations. Final decisions, bookings, and payments are yours.
12. Event-Day Support
Event-Day Support is eight hours of remote text and phone support during one continuous window, scheduled in advance and beginning and ending between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM in your local event time zone. It is remote only. It does not include booking, purchasing, or advancing funds on your behalf, and it is not a substitute for emergency medical, legal, security, or law-enforcement services. Support outside a scheduled window follows the standard hours in your service agreement.
13. Changes, rescheduling, and cancellation
Work outside your agreed scope requires a written change order before it begins. Rescheduling, cancellation, additional events, additional participants, rush turnaround, and after-hours work are governed by your Schedule A and Master Service Agreement, which set the applicable fees. If we cannot reach you for an extended period, your engagement may be paused as described in your agreement. Contact hello@thehonorhouse.co as soon as anything changes.
14. Events beyond our control
Neither of us is responsible for failing to perform because of events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, public health emergencies, government action, war, civil unrest, strikes, travel restrictions, or failures of utilities or third-party services. If that happens, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or adjust.
15. Disclaimers
This website and its contents are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing on this website is legal, financial, medical, or therapeutic advice.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of this website or the services you purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunities. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and both of us consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please contact us so we can try to resolve it directly. We would almost always rather talk.
18. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a provision on one occasion does not waive it. You may not assign your agreement with us without our written consent. We may update these Terms, and the effective date above will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@thehonorhouse.co.
Imagine a two night bachelorette in Palm Springs for a party of eleven, at The Honor level of support. These four documents represent a portion of what that engagement could include.
Every decision below answers something in that brief.
This itinerary would be delivered as a printable PDF, a shared calendar, and a one page version formatted for a phone screen.
Everyone knows where to be, and the weekend still feels unhurried.
You stop answering the same question eleven different ways, and nobody in the group feels singled out.

| Room | Assignment | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| Primary suite | Bride | Own bathroom. Furthest from the kitchen and the noise. |
| Room 2 | Two guests | Both requested an early quiet night. Paired intentionally. |
| Room 3 | Four guests | The late group. Nearest the side entrance so the 11:40 arrivals wake nobody. |
| Room 4 | Four guests | Two artists getting ready here Saturday. Best natural light in the house. |

| Line item | Per person | Paid to the MOH |
|---|---|---|
| House, two nights, split ten ways | $412 | All ten |
| Saturday dinner and car service | $118 | All ten |
| Groceries, welcome hour, flow class | $96 | All ten |
| Photographer, forty five minutes | $74 | All ten |
| Gift and album, split ten ways | $60 | Eight of ten |
Every contribution goes directly to the Maid of Honor. The Honor House does not hold, process, or route guest funds. We keep the ledger current and draft the reminders for you to send, so the two outstanding balances get resolved without the bride ever knowing there were any. She is not shown this document and pays for nothing.
Arrivals, rooms, and money are settled before anyone gets on a plane.
I have known her since we were nineteen and sharing a room roughly the size of this table. In fourteen years she has never once let me apologize for taking up space. So it is a genuinely strange assignment to stand up here and be brief.
